10.09.26For this episode of “Uncanny” Basel invites Valentina (SN1006) from Uruguay, who is a Berlin-based sound engineer and artist, driven by an insatiable curiosity in exploring sound in all its forms. Her practice comes from a need to experiment, share and connect through sound, attracted to anything that makes her feel something.
“A selection of records that, for one reason or another, make me feel something. A transmission from my imaginary territory, characterized by its beauty, discomfort, intimacy and tension. Built from music displaced from its original time and place.
Not everything needs a reason, sometimes feeling something is enough.”
