There is a new wave of Irish artists (John Francis Flynn, Lankum, The Mary Wallopers) who are bringing attention to traditional Irish folk music. This show is a celebration of this, but will also be a celebration of older traditional Irish music (The Dubliners, The Bothy Band) where a lot of their inspiration comes from. Naturally there will be a focus on folk music, but this would extend to Irish artists who span a variety of genres (Sinead O’Connor, Kneecap, Fontaines). The common theme of all of these artists is that their music has a powerful message and story behind it.
