Disco Tehran is a multi cultural dance party and performance project that connects NYC to the era of 1970s discotheques in Tehran. Created by Arya Ghavamian and Mani Nilchiani, the Disco Tehran parties were born out of a small apartment in NYC and rapidly attracted a cult following. Disco Tehran explores groovy music from the Asian continent, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. Since the beginning of the pandemic, Disco Tehran has been running a community kitchen feeding families affected by COVID in NY. For more information visit their instagram @discotehran.nyc
